At Brooks Funeral Directors we want your final goodbye to your loved one to be as special as the individual you're saying goodbye too.
With many years experience, we have built a reputation for providing a personal service at all times.
We offer funerals to suit your needs, from Direct Cremations or Burials to more Traditional Funerals with a Horse drawn hearse. The list is endless. We are here to help you in your time of need.
Chapel of rest
Our Chapel of Rest is available, by appointment, during office hours. This enables you to say your own private farewell in tranquil surroundings – some families prefer to carry out a small service here. Your loved one can be dressed in a favourite outfit or a choice of shrouds.
Coffins
With over a hundred coffins in our range, we are proud to be able to offer a choice for all tastes and affordability. There are coffins and caskets available to suit your requirments.
The choice of pictorial coffins are only limited by your imagination. We can source any design you can dream of.
Funeral Transportation
As you can see from the following pages, we offer a large selection of vehicles from the traditional horse drawn carriage, to a double decker bus or a Motorcycle Hearse! Such a unique way to express your loved ones personality.
Should you require something else, we will do our utmost to source it.
Floral Tributes
As experienced and dedicated Funeral Directors, we have worked with many Florists. We have two Florists who can prepare Floral Tributes to suit your wishes and budget.
If ordered with our florist, your tributes will be delivered to us on the morning of your loved ones final farewell and placed in our Hearse if this is the package you have chosen.

Order of Service
We understand the stress of preparing for the funeral and the short space of time you have in which to put everything in place. Funerals often arise unexpectedly. So we strive to make this part of the arrangements as straight forward as possible.
We create beautiful designs that include family photographs and personal memories along with the order of your service. Please click below for more information.
Doves
Some people find it comforting to carry out a symbolic gesture at the end of the service. This may be the releasing of a dove, in recognition of the liberation of the spirit to a higher place.A more modern alternative is to release balloons with a private message attached. We can provide these to co-ordinate with your floral colour scheme.
We are always here to direct you and guarantee your final farewell is a warm and memorable experience.
Obituaries
Many people like to share Funeral details with friends and family, we have teamed up with Guardian Angel to offer an online obituary service. Which can raise money for charity or collect contributions towards the cost of the funeral.
This can be shared on your Facebook page with as many details as you choose. It allows friends and family to recount memories of your Loved One, which can be a great comfort after the funeral and a help as the family compile a Eulogy - often friends have memories they may like to share with the family.

Keepsakes
Losing a loved one is never easy, letting go of them and not having them near is even harder. A memorial keepsake is a perfect solution.

Pre Paid Funerals
We offer funeral pre-payment schemes from Safe Hands, a Trust Company that will meet all your requirements. Please look at the individual pages for full details and please do not hesitate to contact us to give you a fully bespoke option.
Payment Terms
In order for us to keep our overheads down and pass the savings onto our families, we do require cleared funds 7 working days prior to the funeral taking place. This can be made by either bank transfer, DSS/DWP payments, or debit/credit card.
